Voodoo2+PCI Express cards (Read 213 times)

I would really like to know if its working,but I dont have the proper hardware (all my systems are agp based)..

mhmm.what about agp aperture size? voodoo2s usualy dont work if its set to more than 128MB..do PCI express cards have something similar (PCI E aperture size perhaps Roll Eyes

)?
I'm asking because some guy at voodoofiles forum (may it rest in peace Sad

) had serious problems trying to get his v2 SLI working with an x800,and I couldnt get this off my mind ever since..

Hm, never heard of that Problem.

Last time I had my Voodoo2 running besides a 8xAGP Radeon 9700pro I had AGP Aperture anywhere from 64 to 256MB I think, never encountered a single problem (also don't know how AGP Aperture could affect the Voodoo2's fixed Memory Mapping)

The only Problem I could imagine would be an odd Driver quirrel, but as said, never experienced such an oddball myself.
