Hi all
As we all know the VoodooMAC prototypes have Black DVI-D's but when I recieved my VMAC 5500 Prototype it has a White DVI-D:
here the VMAC 5500 PCI Prototypes with a Black DVI-D:
and here the VMAC 5500 AGP's with a Black DVI-D
Now here comes the funny part:
The Black DVI-D based VMAC 5500 PCI prototypes are Rev.A1 2500's
The Black DVI-D based VMAC 5500 AGP Prototypes are Rev.A2 3300's
The White DVI-D based VMAC 5500 PCI Prototype which I have is a Rev.A1 2900.
the VMAC 5500 AGP Prototype is newer than my Rev.A1 2900 based VMAC 5500 PCI Prototype but it has instead of a white DVI also a black one
So would would explain that all Rev.A1 2500 PCI cards and Rev.A2 3300 AGP cards have a black DVI-D and my Rev.A1 2900 PCI card has a white one ?
Were the black DVI-D's cheaper to produce or was it something else?
Cheers,
Obi-Wan Kenobi.
