"in circuit" values are not correct... So it may actually be a big deal...

I wasnt really aware of that. As far as I've learned, as long as the circuit is not running, the value should be the same.

But with SMT components this isn't possible (too small) so they have to be desoldered. BTW - I've been soldering for over 20yrs, so I know what I'm talking about...

I already have a new resistor. I lack information whether additional technical details should be checked ..... thanks
