Will DOS games that support Glide work with the Voodoo 5 5500. There aren't many as most Glide games ran under Win9x, but there are some. Tomb Raider, Mech Warrior II (3DFX), and X-Car come to mind.
   I have an old K6-2 450Mhz Super Socket 7 AGP system setup for games that won't run under WinXP, or on fast new hardware. I just bought a Voodoo 5 5500 AGP off eBay. The last 3DFX card I had was Voodoo 2 SLI way back.

This file is you need: glide2x.ovl (from win9x-voodoo drivers).
but the most games i tested did not run correctly with the v5  (don't know why)

I ran Tomb Raider Gold successfully from start to finish with a Voodoo5 5500.  I was using the last official reference drivers and the Voodoo Rush 3D patch on the game CDs (that's not a typo):
