Title: Help identify this 3dfx card, please.
Post by razrx on 09.05.08 at 02:53:47
I bought 2 Voodoo5 5500 AGP cards, but one of them looks different.  Someone has reworked the card and there are "not for resale" stickers on the back of the card.

The picture isn't showing the rework due to the camera flash.

Top card is  a retail version V5 5500 AGP  210-0413-001 Rev A  dated: 3900
Bottom is the not for retail V5 5500 AGP  210-0392-001 Rev A1  dated: 0900

Nice purchase! The A1 is tough to find.

Thank you.

Here's a close up of the rework:

Yeah, but you gotta remember that "wherever" it came from - there was probably only ONE... :-/

Still, COOL STUFF! 8-)

A quality rework too. :D

@ EXXE - I found this item on Craigslist.  I was looking to get an extra card for testing the volt mod like ciacara & m14radu did for thier v5 5500 AGP mods.

It was a really nice surprise.  I paid 20.00 for both cards.

@ paulpsomiadis - Good to hear.  :)  I wasn't sure how good it was.  It looks as though they aren't easy to find.
