A friend of mine used to work in a well known gaming store and they used to shrink wrap components games ect. Where the 3dfx boards shipped shrink wrapped from the factory or where they done in store?

Normally they were shrink wrapped in the factory since there was no need to open it again until it is at the customer. I think it's unusual to shrink wrap it in store.
