Did Modular Technology sell any V3?
24.02.05 at 21:17:40

I found an item which is a V3 2k AGP (needless to say when you look at the picture Wink ) but there is a difference: the package is by Modular Technology...

...

Has anyone an idea if Modular did sell this as a package or if the seller just lumped these two items together because the card is a voodoo and on the package is the string voodoo, too?
I found a hint at the company at gary's site but he has "only" a voodoo graphics by Modular Technology so I wondered if the company sold any V3.

Really i do not know......
I do not thing so....any way, in the picture can be seen color voodoo booklet.....it is typical booklet from 3dfx retail package....I do not understand the reason why Modular Technology would have to sell it with a different package.....Probably, there is something wrong....

P.s. ...and not only this! Card seems to be a normal v3 2k agp from STB.....It could be a v3 built by STB; after sold and re-branded by Modular (see Skywell for Voodoo2; same card sold also Trust that called it "Voodoo Dragon2", but the card still have on PCB original name: "Magic 3d II") ...

Nope, that's a Voodoo Graphics box.

Modular was out of business by the time Voodoo 3 came out.

Which advantage would I have if I wouldn't reveal myself as bidder? Wink It doesn't make any difference as nobody knows how much I'll bid. Wink The only fact you know is that I'll try to get it, and that's really unimportant.

Perhaps, perhaps not- With a few exceptions I treat auctions like going to the local casino.

You only bring what you are willing to lose.

I don't throw piles of cash at every auction I bid on (I don't have piles of money), there is a limit and I don't go over it.

Another pound and I would have lost this auction and just waited for the next Modular card/box to show up.
