Title: New Ebay deals Post by gdonovan on 21.09.04 at 16:04:03
Thread is for posting of links to current Ebay auctions of interest- NO COMMENTS.
Each post should be deleted by the inital poster within a week of the auction end. Sound reasonable Falconfly? If anyone thinks this is a bad idea, please let me know. IN PRIVATE- NO COMMENTS IN THIS THREAD PLEASE. To be fair *I* will not list 3dfx prototype cards or quantum3d cards if I stumble across them as they are rare and in heavy demand. |

there should be an ebay category here or something, cuz seeing 'new ebay crap' in every forum is just annoying tbh..

@gdonovan :
Don't open a new Reply for each Item, rather EDIT (and once obsolete, remove) entries in your posting :) @all Of course, a few comments won't hurt the Thread, but keep it reasonable. And indeed, the EBay postings should be limited to this Thread... |

@Patience - The reason for no more smaller companies is probably down to the fact of too much competition! There would be too many 3rd party companies trying to fight it out with each other over selling the same card, with not much difference in terms of the hardware.
The only thing they could probably do is include more software bundles with it. |
Title: Re: New Ebay deals Post by janskjaer on 21.09.04 at 18:19:44
Yeah, I suppose we do have the choice. :)
That's why many of the companies went out of business, or dropped the card(s). Because they didn't know what the customer wanted, or they couldn't get the balance right between features, and value for money. |

Title: Re: New Ebay deals Post by janskjaer on 02.10.04 at 11:49:31
Wouldn't it be easier to browse through and more convenient, if we stick to using one post for all the ebay URL's? As FalconFly said. Just modify our post and put up to date and latest URL's in one post?
We don't want to repeat the length of the previous ebay related thread. ;) |

Have 3 of these already fully retail boxed! :) I have all 3 different versions too! 1. The original Righteous 3D 2. The Righteous 3D Bonus Pack version A incl. Jedi Knight, Sega Rally (with Jedi Knight screenshots on the back of the box used as 3D comparison) 3. Righteous 3D Bonus Pack version B incl. MechWarrior 2, Moto Racer and some other bundled demos (with Mechwarrior 2 screenshots on the back of the box used as 3D comparison) This is the original Righteous 3D (1). |

The thread would be short if people just deleted their postings (hint-hint) after the auction ends. Modifying the first post doesn't show up as a new post on the forum. |

yeah, then best to remove old and copy url into new post if auction is still running.

Dangling the bait to see if anyone bites at that price, I think only someone desperate would but that is just my opinion. I wish them the best of luck. |
Title: Re: New Ebay deals Post by TM30 on 11.10.04 at 03:13:56

That's up to you. If this card is a must have than do it.
I wouldn't pay so much for a Hint based V5 6000. |
Title: Re: New Ebay deals Post by TM30 on 11.10.04 at 19:55:10
why? cause its the final revision?
|
Title: Re: New Ebay deals Post by fish on 12.10.04 at 12:14:18
If you wan't a good working V5 6000 this is the best choice. If you are more for a collector item then you should choose an intel based version or the hint 3400.
