Hello everybody! I digged out the components of my old pc and I found I had a Maxi Gamer 3D (Guillemot), which is incompatible with Win 2k. I have some questions about the 3dfx cards, would be nice if someone could make me see clearer in the world of "old" 3d cards 8)


1) If I have, for example, a 3dfx video card, AGP or PCI, like a Voodoo 2 or above (so it's Windows 2000 compatible), can I install on the same pc a 3dfx accelerator card, like a Voodoo 2 (not mine, because it's not Windows 2000 compatible)? If I can use a Voodoo card + a Voodoo accelerator, which drivers must I use?

2) Can I use Win 9x drivers on Win 2000 (stupid question I know but still... never know)?

3)Can I couple an AGP voodoo card with a PCI voodoo accelerator, or an AGP + AGP, PCI + AGP, PCI + PCI?

What do you guys suggest to put on a mid-old pc to play old and not-so-old games? A Voodoo 3/4/5 + an accelerator  voodoo 2/3 (don't remember if voodoo 3 exist in accelerator)? Is voodoo card compatible with DOS games?
