I have a Creative GF256 DDR with DVI, TV Out and VGA, are you sure there was a version with DFP? I also have some TNT2 Ultras with DFP, but that's the newest card that I have with DFP, Geforce and above have DVI.

If the info is true, then it's incomplete. In that list the only Geforce 256 is the one that you mentioned and it has DFP. I am 100% sure that I have a GF 256 from Creative and it's equiped with DVI, not with DFP. I'll try to find the card and see the code (CTxxxx).
