Voodoo 2 resolution

I run a flight simulator Pro Pilot 99 which is dedicated solely to 3dfx and glide. The sim will only operate on a resolution of 640.480. It operates perfectly well and I have no complaints. However when I wish to operate another sim ie MS FS 2000 which will run on a higher resolution I cannot change the resolution of the Voodoo card. I can move the slider on the card display properties but it will not apply. Any ideas? ??? My OS is Win 95, CPU200mhz ,128 ram

richpress?  The slider in Display Properties is only there to allow you to select the refresh rate that will apply at any given resolution.  To change the resolution of any game you must use the game's own menus (usually under Options, Graphics or similar).

The only exception to this would be games like Quake 1 on a Voodoo add-in card where the resolution would be specified by the game's command line.
