2D Problems with V5500
05.02.05 at 01:28:35
Hi!
I have a problem with my v5500 AGP, and only in 2D:
Everytime I'am in a 2D Game (e.g. AOE1) or when I'am in Picutre Publisher 8 there will be some little grafic errors (in the size of the cursor). there will be a little box of old graphic (when i zoomed in, the old size, when i have clicked a box, the old dialog)
It's from beginning, where I have flashed the card to latest BIOS. before I have had the 1.06 and many problems (windows booting in black/white...)
Have anyone a idea, or can me send the latest OFFICIAL Bios of the card, or the ones before?

This Site should be able to supply you with older BIOS Files.

hmm I solved the problem. I have build the voodoo 5 in a Siemens Scenic M Computer. With Siemens BX Mainboard. No problems. the voodoo seems to have problems with both Gigabyte 6BXC/S mainboards.
on the gigabyte 6bxc mainboard I have reinstalled WIndows 98 SE. hadn't helped...
very strange...
