Just a hint: you may upgrade any regular 4mb voodoo graphics to 8mb by replacing the 512kb SOJes with 1mb ones taken from a late V2 1000 (the one that does not have any RAM chips on the rear side).

yeah, I know - already have one modded card, but would prefer to have one original as well.

brand doesn't really matter, if memory serves, there were only two, skywell and miro I think?

Q3D SB50-4400 as well.
And are you sure about Miro? IIRC they were just a rebranded Canopus Pure3D for the European market, so a 6mb one.

Yeah the Miro Highscore3D only had 6Mb.

I do have a functional Q3D SB50-4220 8MB that's available for trade if you're interested.

I sort of managed to acquire a 100DB-4440, so my q3d cravings are satisfied for the moment. still in for a regular 8MB V1, if the price is good.
