I think VOGONS has a list somewhere, and somebody was making one on the 3Dfxzone forums. I'm too tired to look for them right now, though.

keep cool, no problem! i just thought to give you an advice.. Smiley anyway, i couldn't found better pages than the one you posted...
luckily you raised this topic again, here's why:
at all, it seems like some pages delivering a list of glide games are cluttered with wrong informations...sad...so i asked inside the other thread to create a list on our own, but so far: nobody cares..hm  Undecided

Good idea!  Cheesy

We could also use references from this topic, as more gamers post reviews of the games they have tried with their Voodoo cards.

that's one of the lists i replied to... -->
i don't think HALO supports FXT1 compression & the placement of Unreal 2 is totally wrong.
you all see, this list isn't up to date
for German speekers try this short and useful lists for glide games:
http://www.voodooalert.de/content/glide1.php
and for voodoo compatibility:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4124809359

Talking on the subject of supported games, does anyone know which GLiDE games are for Voodoo 1 ONLY? ???

i.e., they will NOT even run on a Voodoo 2, even with a DOS batch file run. Tongue

e.g. Tombraider is supposed to be Voodoo 1, but a batch file can make it run on Voodoo 2... Roll Eyes

Any thoughts anyone? ???

bet every 'voodoo1 only' game runs at least on a voodoo2 as the hardware of both cards is very similar..heard even voodoo1 had implemented sli shit, but you might know that already..
so far i haven't seen a game only running on a voodoo1 in glide mode.

Yah, Voodoo 1 did have SLI... Wink

...but I think it was only the Quantum cards that did this for the Voodoo 1. Roll Eyes

It would be cool if someone worked out how to do it with NON-Quantum Voodoo 1's though! Shocked Grin

Yah, Quantum 'multi-SLI' style Voodoo cards would be nice! Grin

But... Roll Eyes

1. you're correct that we're getting off topic (although this thread is a 'bit' stagnant). Roll Eyes

2. Micha is 'almost' correct. It would be best if you had the SLI connectors on each of the Voodoo 1 cards...however it WOULD be possible to acheive SLI WITHOUT the connectors if you knew where each point of the SLI cable was connected to on each card... Tongue

If you'd like to continue I'd suggest opening another thread in the Tech Talk area...I'll do that now! Wink

About the voodoo1 SLI. You need to find someone with a voodoo1 SLI (100db/100xs). And then look with line is used for the SLI and how they are connected. A little bit of soldering wil do the trick.

Dethkarz is a really a good glide game. The perfect mix between p.o.d and battle race. I think wipeout xl and rollcage are in the same tradition.

Andreas

Yeah man!! WipEout 2097 (a.k.a. Wipeout XL) and Rollcage/Rollcage StageII are THE BEST futuristic/arcade race games EVER!!  Grin
Both made by Psygnosis (I played them at PSX and PC-Voodoo as well)!!

BTW.. What hepened with Psygnosis?! Every game they made was outstanding legend!! (I know that in mid '90 they were bought by Sony CE, and continued to publish games by old label. I was frequenter at they web-page at those days, but suddenly at 2000 or 2001 they dissapeared. Web page, games, support..!!! Never heared of them since then.)  Shocked
Anyone noticed that Psygnosis dissapeared almost in the same time as 3Dfx !!!   Cry

StarWars - Racer is the best Voodoo game around, it has the most speed I've ever seen, hehe I had Neva Kee's pod racer and my max speed was 1287 Kph with afterburners enabled.

With Ben Quadinaros my top speed was 1504 kph with afterburners enabled Tongue  Useing your brakes with that speed is nearly pointless, especially when you brake down from 1504Kph to a mere 1100 Kph and then you hit a nice mountain wall and then you're strait down dead to zero  Lips Sealed

It runs fine on my Voodoo5 5500 AGP at reso 1024 x 768 x16 @ Glide with FSAA x4 with a nice avr. 48 fps Smiley
