Just a heads up as a few people have sent me notes.

Yes, my home was in the path of the hurricane but all is more or less well. Still no power in my area but I have a generator and the juice should be back on Saturday.

No damage to the house, there was a great deal of lines down due to falling trees! I was out with the boys in the truck during the tail end of the storm dragging the ones out of the state road in front of my house.

Still no power, Sunday were told.

Power finally came back on in the wee hours of Saturday morning.

A picture gallery or two is here on the local news station, my area really lucked out all things considered.
