My 3 V5 5500 with notch like APG4x only run to AGP1x and 2x . I think for that reason my v5 AGP4x died. It was running on 865i board.
According to Everest Home Edition the V4 is compatible with AGP1x, 2x and 4x and V5 5500 'AGP4x' only with AGP1x and 2x.

Regards,
Oscar

Well the chaintech nforce ultra mobo im using doest let you select the agp 1x, 2x or 4x, it does it itself and you cant see whats enabled, the only thing it lets you do is turn on or off the agp 8x mode. my v4 seems to be fine in this mobo but the v5000 was working but wouldnt run mad onion 2001se, but yet i was playing a game which i think was only 2d, so im thinking either it dont like 4x or it doesnt work in 3d mode, so anyways i took it out and have it sitting in a box. so hank thinks he might be able to do the 4x agp i guess but the thread is giving up any info and we have denisf who says he can add ram to the v4, id sure like to buy one of those.
