I know this isn't 3DFX, but I think everyone has got a passion for 3D hardware, and I need some serious help.

As some as you might now, I've got an ultra rare Pyramid3D board (Bitboys oy) with independant software vendor CD and Programmers manual.

I'm having the hardest time getting it to work, and I'm baffled that nobody at Beyond3D is helping out, since there are many people from that era there, and even some that used to work for Beyond3D.

So if you would like to have a look, and post anything in this thread or over at beyond3d to help me out, that would be very nice.  :)

Jpaana replied to the thread, and he used to work for Bitboys, he said he's going to look up if he can find a proper driver for it. Fingers crossed.

It's a small miracle to begin with to have the card, let alone it being able to run the demos (or to have the cd and programmer manual for that matter)

If this card would have been as popular as the V6K, you would probably look at an even greater pricetag, still think I got it cheap as chips, only $3xx or so.

I only know two other pictures, one of the is from an nVidia employee, who I have been in contact with, the other one (resembling mine) I have no idea who owns that one. Both pictures can be found here :

Yeah, a Bitboys card was sold on marktplaats. Don't know who owns it now, I do know of the previous owner.

Can you tell me who the previous owner was? Maybe send me an email. I can perhaps track down the card, it should be a Pyramid3D, but it would be interesting to know what revision it is.

I don't recall seeing Femme with a Bitboys card, either :P. Anyhow, I do have seen a Bitboys card on Marktplaats once but that is years ago. It was 13 july 2004. The auction said:

Yea that's not real mate, the Glaze3D chip was never used on a board, only a press board, which didn't run, and another one, which didn't run either I believe and certainly not dual lol.

So yea, that board is a single chip rev a board, which is non functional, press board, dual cooler? nope, super for 3dfx? Sounds to me like he cobbled together some Glaze3d info, and mixed it with Voodoo 5 5500, and asked a load of money for it. :)
