Arg.  Well VisualReality isn't showing me anything from the tuner.

I saw a post advising someone to adjust some of the settings under the Display Properties, Settings, Advanced, 3DFX TV.  So I figured, hey, maybe I should try that.  NO WAY!

I don't HAVE a 3DFX TV tab there, my video card appears to be installed and I'm running it OK, got the 3DFX tools installed OK (I THINK).

Also:  3DFX Tools Manager works, for what it does (not that I use it), but when I try to launch 3DFX Tools Hub, it seems to just exit, that or it's running WAY in the background.  Doesn't seem to do anything.

I can't get my TV Tuner to do ANYTHING, can't even find it to check properties or settings.

Am I missing some 3DFX tools?

How do I get the 3DFX TV tab to show up?

Any guesses on this FalconFly?  Am I just missing something totally obvious on the 3DFX tools setup?

The way it looks like until now, something must have gone terribly wrong during the Installation ::)

You should have an entire Series of 3dfx Tab's in the Advanced Display properties.
If those are not present, 3dfx Tools did not install correctly, or at all.

Could it be this person just installed the driver/tools and not the visual reality application from the seperate download?  Or is he talking about the tab within tools that has the TV out on/off setting etc?

I just did the install of both the driver/tools and visual reality (the TV tuner application) on XP.  Driver and tools are great, still no tgetting the TV to work, just locks my PC solid.  Possibly conflict w/ sound card?

oh, re-read the post and I understand the issue now.

I looked at my fresh install, I do get the '3DFX TV' tab in advanced properties.  I can turn on/off TV out feature.

Must have been a install problem.
