Obviously, the selling of this V5 6k has not been going to plan for this seller. I doubt he has had more than one. I am guessing he's had the same one but failed to sell it on seperate attempts. Even if someone has left him positive feedback, who is to know the deal when pair-shaped afterwards.
I don't understand why this guy doesn't list the item to pre-approved buyers only. Yesterday, in my country, a EuroTunnel Boring Drill Machine went for £39,999.
In the first few days, it got a lot of publicity on webpages and newspapers because it was such an absurd item to sell on ebay. Silly people obviously saw this as a practical joke. Within minutes the price went to £750k. An hour later, it rose to £1M !! 10 minutes later, and it was at £2.5M.
Half an hour later and the price was £10M !!!
BBC Website wrote a report and within a couple of hours, ebay started to filter all the bogus buyers out and put a pre-approved cap on the item, dropping the price back down to £10k.
I tracked the item right up until it's sale yesterday which it went for a pound under £40k.
Item's that have had trouble in the past really need to be available only to pre-approved customers, who contact the seller first to explain their genuine reason to buy.
This would help the buyer AND the seller, if he really has a V5 6k, of course.
