Title: [S] whole 3dfx collection Post by fish on 26.03.12 at 14:37:45
Hi there,
unfortunately I have no time (yes, kids take a lot of it ;) ) and storage any more for my 3dfx collection so I will sell my collection. It is all stored at my parents home who I will visit at the time around easter. Then I will do pictures and think about prices. I just wanted to inform you early so that you have an idea what I will offer. Some of it I'll offer in the forums (here and VoodooAlert.de) and the rest will go to ebay I think. I found an old list of my collection here in the forum. Except for the Mercury and the V5 6k all the stuff should be available and I guess some more: Collection Location: Germany, Europe No. of cards: 81 (Mercury system counts as one card) misc. hardware: 1 misc. items: 17 Updated: 09/29/2005 Voodoo Graphics Miro Hiscore 3D (B) Diamond Monster 3D (B) Diamond Monster 3D Typhoon 3D Max (B) Canopus Pure3D (sealed) Yakumo Voodoo Graphics (B) 3x Orchid Righteous 3D (B) Orchid Righteous 3D Guillemont Maxi Gamer 3D RealVision Flash3D (B) Colormaster VoodooMania (B) Colormaster VoodooMania VillageTronic 3dfx Overdrive Module (B) 2x unknown Voodoo Graphics Voodoo Rush Hercules Stingray 128/3D (Dual Planar) A-Trend ATC-2475 ProComp G105 Jazz Adrenaline Rush 3D Voodoo 2 Skywell Magic 3D Voodoo2 12MB (B) Miro Hiscore2 3D (sealed) Voodoo2 1000 12 MB (B) 2x Voodoo2 1000 12 MB (sealed) Creative Blaster 3D II 8MB (B) Creative Blaster 3D II 8MB InnoVISION Mighty 3D II (B) Voodoo Banshee APC Banshee (B) Miro Hiscore Pro AGP Diamond Monster Fusion AGP Creative 3D Blaster Banshee PCI (B) Guillemot Maxi Gamer Phoenix PCI (B) MSI 3D AGPhantom (MS4427) 2x Gigabyte GA-630 ELSA VICTORY II (B) (AGP) Voodoo 3 Powercolor Evilking 3 Pro (B) Powercolor Evilking 3 Extreme (B) Compaq Voodoo3 1000 AGP Velocity 100 AGP (sealed) Velocity 100 AGP Voodoo3 2000 AGP (B) Voodoo3 2000 PCI SGRAM 2x Voodoo3 3000 AGP (B) Voodoo3 3000 PCI SGRAM 3x Voodoo3 3500 AGP (B) Compaq Voodoo3 3500 AGP (No TV Tuner) MSI motherboard MS-6168 with V-2000 TV 8 MB (Packard Bell PC/OEM) Supertek Voodoo 3 3000 AGP (B) VillageTronic MP860 VillageTronic MP960 Voodoo 4 Voodoo4 4200 PCI (VSA-101, dead) Voodoo4 4500 AGP (B) Voodoo4 4500 PCI (B) Voodoo4 4500 PCI Voodoo4 4500 PCI & DVI (not for resale) PowerColor Evilking 4 AGP TV-Out Voodoo 5 Voodoo5 5500 AGP (B) Voodoo5 5500 AGP Voodoo5 5500 AGP (dead) 2x Voodoo 5500 PCI (sealed) Voodoo 5500 PCI (B) VoodooMac 5500 US (B) VoodooMac 5500 Europe (sealed) Voodoo5 6000 Rev.3700A Voodoo TV Cards Voodoo TV FM (B) Quantum 3D Obsidian SB50-4440 (sealed) Obsidian SB100-4400 Obsidian SB100-4440 + VGA (B) Obsidian2 S-12 AGP Obsidian2 X-16 (B) Obsidian2 X-24 Obsidian2 X-24 (B) Obsidian2 SB200 Mercury System (4xObsidian2 SBi200) misc. hardware Hammerhead FX (B) misc. items 3x Voodoo5 T-Shirt, english (new) 3x Voodoo5 T-Shirt, portuguese (new) 3x mousepads V5 5500 (new) 3x mousepads V3 3500 (new) 3x golf balls with pins (new) 3dfx leather jacket 3dfx cup (selfmade) |

Hello,
Little history about Fish card: As you can see, here is the Fish Voodoo5k6 3700A squeezed card : - Pictures taken by Fish before sending it (already squeezed) : - When i received it : I make some tests with your card. This V5 6000 card ONLY work in Single Chip mode! Fish's answer : sorry to hear that the card isn't working as you expected. But I told you that I never tested the card. I only checked if it prompts when the pc is switched on. But that is the problem with prototypes, nobody knows what's going on. I need to repair this card now changing Hint Chip (done), Second VSA-100(done) without success. Now trying to change third and fourth VSA-100 later... |

Hi Michel,
please upload highres pics of the card (back and front), maybe it is possble to see something. Because it's bent that heavy maybe some smaller parts are fallen of the card or contacts are just slightly broken. Regards, Dominik |

Great pics. I *think* I can spot a broken SMD under that MOLEX connector, but I'm not sure. (end sarcasm)

Please discuss the V5 6000 in a new thread. That is my sales thread. Thanks.
I didn't think about prizes yet because I first have to fetch the cards from the attic. |

I did try google translate, it didnt put across the finer points in an understandable manner. It does a few weird things like, the v56k is squeezed instead of the V56k is "bent or warped".

I would be very interested in a V5 PCI edition if the price is low. I'm from Belgium so shipping shouldn't be a problem.
I'm willing to take one of the sealed ones for a bit more, and else the regular non sealed V5 PCI will do. You can reply to me here or drop me an email: kirsten (dot) geukens (at) hotmail (dot) com |
