That left cable looks alot like the ribbon cable Quantum3D used for their SLI Voodoo Graphics (2x Obsidian SB50) Perhaps another company tried this too?

I think that it has 6 3dfx chips though. The visible ones are all the same size which means they're texture mapping units. So there have to be two more chips (framebuffer/PFI).

Where did you get this image?
(I'd bet Gary will be mighty interested in this card Tongue

I've got a hunch that it MIGHT (stress this - might) be a VREngine Voodoo 2. Shocked

From the pictures I remember, it looks similar... Tongue

I'm also going to field a guess and say that the chip with the HSF is part of the TnL engine... Shocked

This is all conjecture though! Roll Eyes

@gdonovan - do you have any info on this unusual behemoth? ???

As I stated, I don't want to see any of my friends here at "The 3dfx Archive" get burned on a bad deal.

On-topic: The cable looks like the same cable needed for a 100DB 4440 aka SX-100 card set. I can verify the 3dfx part number Wink

Great find BTW on what ever that card is.. Looks like a dual capable Rush card. Donno, it looks really cool though 8)
