Can't believe it, 3dfx stops giving any support (the company was bought by nvidia I think, anyway you probably know it better than me) and they don't release the source code of the drivers? why? will someone make economic profit of such a thing? don't think so... there is more than one reason to give that source to the public. I just wanted to add a simple feature for games that don't seem to initialize the Voodoo2 as it should, (need for speed 3) there should be a call to some function on glide to guGammaCorrectionRGB() (just guessing) or something like that I suspect some games don't perform, making game to bypass the gamma settings. This could be easily fixed (need to see that damn source to be sure) just making glide to do it automatically on initialization.

BTW, i guess that 3rd party drivers are just hacked ones then.. right?

damnit.. Guys at 3dfx, RELEASE THE SOURCE CODE OF DRIVERS, WE NEED IT TO BE ABLE TO USE THE HARDWARE WE PAID FOR TO YOU.

Well, even though this may be perhaps the saddest thing ever for the 3Dfx community, Aqueel said he's releasing the source. So there is hope.
