ok, changing to sale.
for sale: two unfinished AGP.5 agp2pci prototypes (the two unfinished cards on the picture. the complete one is not for sale. the missing parts are not for sale either, but can be purchased from any electronics store and resoldered on with little effort-see the
documentation)
location: Czech Republic
payment method: paypal (the buyer pays the fees)
minimum price: 100E
each card
sale duration: open (I'll just let it run for a week or so, it should be pretty clear who is the winning bidder by then)
just to make things 100% clear-these are prototypes, and are not meant for normal use (even after resoldering the missing parts). they are useful only as a collectors item, or as a reference/debug/test board for anyone who might attempt to finish up the project.
Ren says:
Quote:Hi guys, just some brief explanation about these boards. It's PCB identical to the original AGP.5 prototype, so it is fully working in PCI signaling on 3.3V (which is something you need to figure out about your mobo yourself, mfg rarely put it in specs). In the AGP.5 package, released a few days ago you can find exact list of components, which can be bought in any shop with electronic components for a few cents (straddle-mounted AGP is an exception but you can always dismantle old mobo for that). If you're going for it, I encourage you to carefully study the pinout and buses specs and continue to finish this project. Just a few steps are missing, e.g. to enhance power supply layers to achieve better shielding on the backplane, and/or adding PI5C-like switches to make the device compatible with any PCI version.
happy shopping.
[old]ok, so the documentation is
already out, and the prototypes should be available soon (2 pieces). is there any serious interest in these?
the price would be around 100E each.[old]
