Especially this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Quantum3D-RAVEN-PCI-3DFX-Voodoo-Bansee-video-card-RARE_W0QQi...

You could buy an entire boxed 3dfx collection at that price (v1/rush/v2/banshee/v3/v4/v5). Or a really cool prototype card. Or 3-4 boxed Quantum3D cards.

On a side-note regarding this perticular card: why is there no option to pass-through the VGA signal ? Seems a strange voodoo card to me ?

Yes, he bought that card from me for thirty-something dollars and immediately resells it for almost 10x the price.  And he left no positive feedback.  Roll Eyes

Well, the Raven PCI is a Banshee. Wink

If you mean the Obsidian2 that should be the Arcade-version of the S-12 PCI but with an added slot plate. Since the 90-2440's VGA-out fed into the VGA-in of an Arcade-board there was no need for a VGA-in, TV-Out or SLI-connector so it could be cheaper.

If you check his feedback you can see he bought another Raven PCI for about 140 USD. BTW now the price is doubled

The V2 from diamond instead, the multiplier/ratio is now something like 13x

Is it just me, or have the prices on 3dfx cards went up lately? I picked up my 5500 for only $25. It looks like everything 3dfx has went up.

It depends, items like V5 5500 (especially PCI versions) are getting very expensive, people bid on those like crazy, I think there are a lot of noobs that think they are very valuable. On the other hands, V1, V2 and other early cards can still be found for peanuts. Works for me.

PS - When posting ebay auctions, can you make it a link like everyone else?

I'm always worried that I might post my account details with the URL or something. Done it before on quakenet, but was a private channel.

Use the following:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=

and place the number behind it.
