Food for gamers...
27.12.07 at 20:04:40
Okay, I thought I'd start a new type of thread where we can share recipes.
After all - gamers NEED food (even 3Dfx gamers!)
So...
The official 3Dfx gamers uber-sandwich
=============================
Start with two LARGE slices of bread (or a large bun)
and add the following...
Lettuce (2-3 leaves)
Cucumber (6 slices)
Chicken or Turkey (as preferred)
Salami or Pepperoni (as preferred)
Cherry Tomatoes (3 of them)
Soft boiled eggs (2 of them)
Mayonaise (Hellmans of course)
Et voila! Instant awesomeness to stuff into your mouth!
Alternatively...
3dfx gamers salad
=============
Take the sandwich ingredients from above (minus the bread) and chop them finely.
Also remember to double the number of cherry tomatoes and lettuce leaves if making salad.
Add a dash of olive oil and half a lemon (squeezed)
Mix thoroughly.
Nuff said!
Oh and MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!

quick fix of pasta with tomato sauce and a bit of unflavored youghurt is one of my favorites (when gaming),you just take some good pasta and cook it properly,not too soft and not too hard,then you heat up some olive oil in the pan,add a bit of crushed garlic,tomato sauce of your choice (flavored or unflavored,sweet or spicy,its up to you),add a little sugar&salt&spices if necessary,and pour it on the pasta as soon as it starts to boil.mix it with the pasta,ad few tablespoons of yoghurt on the top,all done..few slices of hard-boiled egg/powdered cheese as decoration are fine as well.
the garlic has the ability to scare away women who try to bother you while gaming,add more garlic if there are many women around.

That pasta platter sounds really good ps47.
I'm still LMAO about the bothersome women while gaming

Personal favorite of mine...
Take either some turkey or tuna, cut it up real fine. And simply add onion, celery, and miracle whip, and pepper if wanted. When done cover it with plastic wrap and put it in the fridge until cold. Put it on a bun/bread/or croissant, and you are ready to rock. It is also possible to put some lettuce on along with it. Pickles/chips are also a great side for this snack.
