Hm, I'm almost certain there's something buried somewhere in the Forum actually...

Just search around, there was a list of steps to free as much as possible Video RAM (e.g. Desktop to 640x480 etc), and some reported it worked to some extend...

You could use the V1.03.00 DX7 Driver from the Archive, and if you have an intel CPU it should work quite okay (GTA3 somehow always failed with an AMD CPU and the V1.03.00)

Yeah there's a thread somewhere about it, but not a real solution..

The game *requires* 32 megs, and bluntly refuses to even run on less..

My setup is Intel P3/winxpsp1a/STB voodoo3.

I guess i'll just have to wait a few days until my voodoo4 gets here :(
Should i excpect any problems with it?

Ah I see (I was still thinking about the 'old' GTA3).

But if Raziel64 made it work on the Banshee, the Voodoo3 certainly should be able to run it (?)

You probably should ask him (his website seems down/dead since a while again unfortunately), I only get the Java Animation with no Link any further (just like the last time :( )

you do not have to believe it to me however I the game schonma on more ner banshee played!

it has only for a very long time loaded however it ran liquid looked however genuinly bad!

with the map he does not ask strange to say for the memory

Hm, true, several 3dfx Drivers are able to use PCI Memory when needed (very slow, but works), so I really think it can be done :)

Oh i see, but there's a patch that corrects graphical 'issues' .. think that fixes the V4/5 issue aswell?

I didn't notice any single bug with V5 and amigamerlin 2.9 :)
it runs quite good with fsaa 4x

Amigamerlin2.9 is a win9x driver, i'm talking about winxp here :)
