Yup, many cards had 4Mb then, apparently the image quality was superior to the Voodoo 1, but the FSAA could not be turned off, (FSAA was always on!) hence the performance was lower then it should have bee, but had excellent image quality.

Oak Technologies, only one day after Metabyte announced the card, divested all interests in their graphics and multimedia division. The Warp 5 never saw the light of day, and Metabyte would have to wait 6 more months before establishing a name for themselves within the gaming community.
Oak Tech. stopped the project one day after Metabyte announced their board.

Thanks for the kind words guys! I'm gonna try and run some stuff on it, from the previous owner I know there were quite a few problems with games, missing colours, green scenery etc, because the driver was still very early Beta. Well, it should be fun to try some stuff out regardless.
Final Reality is Dx6, just gotta think of some others, Monster Truck Madness 2, Unreal I think.

KEWL!
The layout even LOOKS like a Voodoo 1 - despite it being so rare.

Just got the Beta driver in, I might be able to get it out tomorrow on the bench.
I'm really wondering to what Voodoo 1 you are comparing it though, because it doesn't really look anything like a V1?

Really? Which one? I can't recall a Voodoo Graphics with that memory layout nor with one chip. Please enlighten me.

Very nice Card!
The board has the same color as the Jazz Multimedia Cards.
It would be very interesting, if you would compare it with a Cirrus Logic CL5465. ^^

Sorry guys - I should have said it looks "similar" to a Voodoo 1.
Obviously the layout is different - but many of the components look similar like the RAM chips for instance...
...after all they are from roughly the same time frame.
