Title: Package from the states
Post by Eye-Q on 24.04.05 at 19:35:34
At the weekend I got a package from my uncle who lives in the states. Inside:
- V5 5500 PCI Mac (ebay USA)
- iMac Game Wizard V2 (ebay USA)
- compaq V3 3500 from Gary
- three 3dfx-mousepads from Gary

Indeed, there is no "ordinary" PCI-Connector. At the motherboard of the iMac there is a so-called "mezzanine-slot" which is basically the same functional principle as the connectors for the Q3D-shade cards but the mezzanine-slot is a bit longer. For an "ordinary" PCI-slot there was no place in the iMac, if you remember the old iMacs with the CRT inside. ;)

I don't think you can put two of them together in a SLI-configuration but I honestly don't know that exactly.

Unfortunately the batteries of my cam are just at low power so I can post an image from the backside of the card later on.

I have a boxed one for sale if you are looking for one, and no they cannot be run in SLI mode.

Battery charging lasted longer than I thought...

Now after getting home from work I took a picture of the backside of the card:
