My xp cd is scratched. All seems well until I get a few nasty errors on installation. Users.dll or something like that cannot be copied error. Everything else appears to work except none of the joystick drivers that came with xp are on the computer. When I go select a joystick it says installing software hidclass then joystick 2 button 2 axis then hidclass and then says installing generic gameport driver. Now as far as I can see everything installed on xp except the standard gameport driver hidclass.sys file and the standard joystick drivers. Now what?

Seriously - it's amazing how many Windows DLL files are available for DL out there. ::)

There are even whole websites for JUST DLL files! :o

I go there all the time when I install something new and get one of those annoying... :P
