I've got the card with original driver disk. It has PDF manual and some demos additionally.

And yes, this card is SimFUSION 6500q:

...

It has R360 cores

ATi FireGL V3250 with 256MB DDR. 500MHz core and 400MHz memory clock.

It's a "non-qualification sample".

Very nice man....very nice indeed.

Just to be clear...a NQS means it did not pass internal testing, or it didn't get the tests at all and is used for something else, like showcasing to the public or something?

Thanks Smiley

Yes, NQS usually means that not all components of the card have been fully tested and it mustn't be used for quality assurance testing.

Every company defines their processes a little bit different... but what I can tell you from my point of view (as a software engineer), the engineering team is doing pretesting before the product is given to the QA team.

So NQS is somewhere between ES and QA sample.

Regarding the card... the FireGL V3250 wasn't sold in retail, but was used from OEM vendors (DELL, HP, Fujitsu).

Cool Cool Pretty hard to find one these days. Harder than getting a Voodoo 5 6000 (you just need money here).

Yes it is true, if you count the numer of Voodoos 5 6000 and compare them with Xabres 600 then you will see there is more 3Dfx cards, but the price of those cards cannot be compared. Voodoo 5 6000 is more desired (for obvious reasons...) and would cost more than 2000 euroes? (I do not know what the current price is...) while SiS Xabre 600 is less interesting and won't go for more than 200 euros I think. What do you think?

I have more of those white cards Cheesy

Xabre 600 is a rare card! I only ever managed to find a review board, never a retail.

...

(I no longer own this board.)
