I am kinda out of my element here, but wouldn't that be the card try ing to set the monitor to a refresh rate it can't support or a resolution or mode it can't support?  I've gotten that kind of error right in XP when trying to set the monitor to a resolution the card can handle but the monitor cannot.

1) try a different monitor
2) try V56k in a safe, known environment to make sure it works at all - if it works in safe environment, then you are out of luck
3) if it doesnt, then find some v56k bios, modify the default refresh rate, cross fingers and try again.

Good luck

I try different motherboard and it work.
I don't acces safe mode because i have error before my bios screen.
I don't want to flash bios because it's not this problem.
How can i do ?
my card full work on other pc just motherboard problem.

You just answered your own question. Use a different mainboard, one which is compatible with V5 6k. V56k is pretty selective as you should be aware by now  ;)

That's what elfuego just said, it might not be compatible at all with your Asus mainboard, so if that is the case it won't run on it and you wouldn't be able to test it on it.

did you use the agp2pci adapter then?  that could be the weak link.

Did you update BIOS of your motherboard? Remove V56k, update your motherboard BIOS (if there is a newer one), disconnect the power cable from the plug, jump-reset the BIOS (use jumper next to the mainboard to clear CMOS), re-plug the system, enter BIOS and load setup defaults (do nothing else!), restart, plug in V5 6k and pray.  ;)

...and let us know how did it go :)

Not the card. Flash the mainboard...
