What are your opinions regarding the very small VIA Epia N motherboard and the tiny, fanless CPU- Eden?
You can find details at:

VIA Epia N is a motherboard, so it does have an on-board video, so it did fit on the "Tech Talk" topic. Anyway let it be so...

Someone, somewhere has already imagined this!
Anyway I would be interested to find out what kind of LCD display and keyboard they would use for this ultra-small motherboard fitted inside a case that is a bit smaller than a "Barebone" system.
Also, of interest would be what kind of batteries you would need for such a small system, and how long can you keep your tiny PC on, when using those batteries.

Hmm...don't know about batteries!
It's 'possible' I guess...
...but the Nano-ITX mainboard uses a standard ATX PSU connector, meaning you'll STILL need a PSU!

there's a VIA mini-ITX motherboard (don't remember the name) with a DC converter built-in.
That means you just have to supply it with some standard 12V

Yeah, I know about the mini-ITX board that has a DC to DC convertor on it...
...but the nano-ITX board runs from a normal ATX power connector.
So you'd need a convertor board to run it from batteries!
