Posts: 1 Gender:	VoodooXtreme & VoodooLizer drivers 22.06.05 at 12:31:43 Does any one have or know where to find these drivers: VoodooXtreme 1.06.00 VoodooLizer 1.06.00 I tryed to look for them but ended at finding a lot of down download servers with these names. In other words google didnt help me.

Those "drivers" are a pice of sh!t. x3dfxgamers just took drivers developed by amigamerlin and put there names and logo in. So they are nothing more as junk. Why take them when you can have the original amigamerlin ones ?

With a P3 class processor you can emulate TnL with your V3. You can find them on xpentor site. It was on voodoofiles, but now it's risky to pick-up something there.

The Fake-O-Lizer crew was even worse, being cheap rip-off 1:1 plagiats of the AmigaMerlin Drivers, a bunch of incapable liars, nothing more.

dam it, they were liars and I falled in their trap! I used that driver for the so called "emulate TnL". Did amigamerlin did something like that or was it all wind ?
fack it hurts to learn we've been fooled 5 years later !
And they build such a big site for giving away wind, Dammmm!!! I should have used forums more often!
I'm so mad. I'll never use anything else than AmigaMerlin for the rest of my life. Or the life of my Voodoo cards...

Why not use Amigamerlin 2.9 for Win9x/Me?
Those drivers have indeed the T&L Emulation, it is called "Geometry Assist", but bare in mind that this feature only works at DirectX 7 level and could cause problems with DirectX 8/9 compliant games. Also T&L Emulation does not exist for Windows 2000/XP drivers. My point: Amigamerlin 2.9 for V3/4/5 and Win9x drivers gives good speed, quality, stability and compatibility and the tweak features work great; they are the best choice. Too bad that Amigamerlin drivers for Win9x have been discontinued!
