Heck! I remember reading about it in one of the UK newspapers about 3 or 4 months ago!  Back then , it may have only been speculation though.

I've just watched the trailer, and to be honest, it looks like this film would probably end up being a 90 minute game FMV.  :(

As soon as I saw The Rock, I didn't have high hopes.

From what can be seen in the trailer, looks nothing more than a Resident Evil copycat.

On the plus side, it does have that fit bird in from 007 - Die Another Day!  :-*

yeah I was thinking in the Direction of Aliens V.S. Preditior , which used to be a very good ole 3Dfx Voodoo games based on the Unreal Engine ;) I suppose you guys remembered that also  :P

Aliens vs predator 1 & 2 used the Lith Tech engine not the Unreal engine  ;)

it did sure look like the Unreal engine though hehe, anyway playing with the Marine was scaries though haha. Doom The Movie is still a nice idea, but it won't be as scary as the game it's self. aka Doom3 Ressurection of Evil.

The genre of such films now are so cliche.  I will probably go see it because it's DOOM.  Something we've all wanted to see happen in a movie, but I can't say I'm gonna like it though!  ;)
