I have the feeling that there may have been more of these cards and they were recklessly sold to retailers. >:(

That's a bad way of treating 3dfx proto's, okay I don't have one yet, but this is a sad thing to see sometimes.

I asked if the picture represents the real item. And if it does I will see if an arrangement can be made. But anyway I dont have a good feeling about it.  

yeah therefore, be'n sure about it that they are real as they a shown on ebay would be a good advice.

And If they are, who used to be the real owner of so many proto's?

Do you thing that Cray has something to do with this one, or just another ex-3dfx employee?

It seems he has 5 now. I don't think the 5000 are "rare" anymore. I'm sure this dude will have a lot more in the future, :)

It looks like I sold both of mine just in time. This will surely drive the price down for you guys though. Even if he has 10, are they not still "rare". I would think so but I guess I see your point. It would be nice to see if even one of these works properly in 4X mode though. So far, none of the 5k's that I have seen did.

Did that lot of Voodoo5 5000 4xAGPs card turn out to be the real deal?

I sent them a note inquiring where the card was since it had not been shipped (even though I had a tracking number) they sent that note back.

They sold more cards then they had, I suspect all the later buyers are out of luck. There was two or three auctions after the one I won.

how do you have a sale for something you dont have? thats b.s., plus i paypaled em right away and iwas first and have not got mine, im e mailing em right now :-/
