Title: 3Dfx VW beetle
Post by st4r4m4m4 on 06.08.05 at 16:58:29
Anyone knows where are those expo's V3 beetles now/who owns them?
(it'd probably be by far the biggest possible collectors item)

Most likely to have been re-sprayed.  I doubt anyone who had the cars in their possession at the time would still want to drive them around with the 3dfx promo material on them (although there are a few on this forum would love to given half the chance  ;D).

Forget that! What if you were actually in it before they sealed them with the 3dfx skin?  :-X

As for driving it, you aint gotta hope.  You're bound to get side-swiped for sure.  ;)

If anyone fancies having a dabble with photoshop to skin your own favourite car with the a lick of the old '3dfx paintwork' then post it in.  It would be nice to see.  :)

yeah looks quite okay, an Ariel Atom would of been cooler :) it weighs just 500 kilo's and has 300bhp, that's equivallant to 600 bhp per ton :|, that in V56K colours :D

here are some nice pic's of it:

Try that in the V56K colours :) it beats an Enzo with ease :) 0-60mph in 2.9 secs :) and that for a car of abut 20.000 Euro's not bad.

here more info about it:
