One of the best places to see these kinds of slip-ups is ebay.

I see a lot of "Voodoo 2 16Mb" cards advertised, and "Voodoo2 3 5000". Some are clasic.

However, regarding the one that is currently on sale on ebay (sorry I don't have the link with me right now) : "Voodoo5 5000", this is NOT an illusion! ;)

I worked for STB/3dfx. Most of my story is covered under the "General discussion" section on this board in the "Post your 3dfx images" thread. I had a huge collection at one time but now I am selling off the last of it for other hobbies like cars and guitars.  ;-p

Where were you based?

My friend was part of the 'shutdown' crew at the 3dfx San Jose office when you guys went under. He had the depressing job of selling all your assets off to bidders.  :'(
