hehe yeah rather a sort of comeback for the good ole Voodoo Volts, anyway the idea sure looks like it, ASUS also made that attempt with a Dual GeForce 6800GT check it:

The Humungous Back Plate:
Front View without Cooler, look carefully, you can clearly read GeForce 6800 PCI on the metal rim's of the NV45 GPU's:

here another model of that kind: the ASUS GeForce 6600GT PCI-E SLI board with GeForce Volts
:
Keep in mind this card was never brought into production, this is only a prototype, the GeForce 7800GT PCI Sli Board might come in prduction since it's more powerfull than the 6800GT SLI sollution, but it's not certain if it will ever reach the production's list. Also The GeForce 6800 GT AGO has the VN40 core and the GeForce 6800GT PCI-E has the NV45 core, the only differenct is that the NV45 runs on the PCI-Express bus and can be put in SLI mode, however the NV40 does support SLI, so let's gope that a card config like thses SLiboards will come for the AGP user also.
