hehe Sorry Gary, don't take it too personal, It's a very well know factor here, and the politics here in NL aren't so fantastic either Wink

Anyway back to real life On topic mode, The Dutch have made up thier mind's for a replacement of the F-16 though, this was their favourite member!

Lockheed F35A Joint Strike Fighter

She's a beauty allright no doubt about that and it's our first Stealth based plane too Grin

They cost 60 Mil a piece., that's quite cheap for a plane like that.

w00t! Thanx Gary, and the Memphis Belle is a very well known plane also, I have it in a nice Die caste Metal 1/144 scale model, I recieved from my just past-away Grand Father, He was an old W.W.II hero, and he recieved that plane because he was a member of the DDA. that refers to Dutch Dakota Accosiation and the Royal Marchausee.

Anyways thanx for the great site

But my question is , What happened to the YF-23 BlackWidow, why was the YF-22 alot better?

the YF-23 had a greater range, it did carry less, but it did have a higher speed an manueverbillity didn't it?

Not if all nations ban together setting aside their own $$$ interests and destroy these animals like the mad dogs they are.

It pains me greatly to see a leader in Europe snub the US while visiting a certain well known terror figure on his deathbed.

Alright folks, let's keep this Thread On-Topic, which are Aircraft, just plain Aircraft.

PS.
Yes, Politics is dirty, kills people for money and power, and alot of people would need to learn alot of things to actually fully comprehend that (which would probably scare the sh*t out of some). But that's open for discussion for another Thread (preferrably one with Ceramic heatshields *g*) Wink
