Hmm thanks for the advice thats a good programme, But the game runs too fast. However, strangely enough the timer counts correctly.. Obviously 60fps was not the normal back then- I think maybe it was 40 back then? or 35
Any suggestions?

Well, I know this isnt really going to help your exact problem. But, I built a 1999 style computer about a year ago. It is still possible to get a fast processor and still enjoy the games from the late 90s. Like alot of other people on this site. I set up a amd athlon barton core(2400 iirc) and 768mb of ram. Along with a voodoo 5500.
The nice thing is that these components can be picked up for a VERY reasonable price. I actually found Ducktales. Which was originally a floppy disc game. The last time I had played it was about 15 years ago. I loaded it up and it worked! Although it was too fast. But I slowed it down with cpukiller iirc.
So what Im saying is that you can actually setup a fairly quick computer and still get great compatibility with the older games.
Whatever you do. I hope you figure it out.
