I see, I knew the size was different, but your post threw me off slightly, interesting. I might have to get me one of those adaptors.  Wink

yeah, well if you need one of those adaptors get that 3500TVSI I linked ya Smiley

Since these connectors were only made for them cards in China only.
the Si has 6ns ram the normalone has 5.5ns ram Smiley

there are slight differences too, but you'll need a sharp eye to spot them besides the ram and the converter Wink

Okay, but if I could get the adaptor on its own, would they work for the EU 3500's as well?

I think the adapter should work since I believe it's just a rerouting of pins for the VGA-connector.

hehe yeah the famous Rev.A 1800 the Evaluation board of the famous 3dfx Voodoo5 5500 AGP 64MB heh, this is truly a master piece as it's 1 of 2 known in the world, the otherone is owned by a reviewer from XBitlabs.ru Smiley

This Evaluation board of the 5500 AGP, which is not even the production board, was once reviewed by X-Bit Labs just before the launch of the production 5500 AGP, which was the Rev.A 1900 Wink
http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/video/display/voodoo5-5500.html

Rev.A
...

1800 Wink
...

with Bios 1.05 8)
...

As you can see it runs like every other 5500 AGP we all have, @ 166Mhz cores / ram. Well most of us have a 5500 AGP right Wink, the only real differences it has is the location of it's PCB date, the PCB date it's self is very early aka week 18 of year 2000 and finally it's bios is a lot older than the oldest bios known on the production cards which is the famous bios 1.06 Smiley

Evaluation boards are the cards that were sent to the press for previews and reviews Wink

Rottentreats got the Rev.A 1800 for USD 224,72 heh not bad, kinda cheap for such an ultra rare Evaluation card  Cool

Hi Obi, it's really nice to have you back. I love your posts...a lot, really, I DO, but you know - what's too much becomes unpleasant. Take for example a song that you like very much. It's good to hear that song one time, two times, 10 times, but after a while it becomes annoying. It's been only a few days since you are back and you already have 40+ posts. That's cool ... activity here, keeping 3dfx alive and such, but still...

I know many of you will say I'm bad and I have bad manners...but it's just my opinion, I don't have anything against Obi, but each section of the forum I open, there's 4-5 posts all by Obi and a lot of double posts...same old pics, some stupid (my opinion again) links.

Now back to topic  Grin

4 Powecolor V2...all combination of chips  Cool

heh think what you must of course, that's all up to you Wink no facts = no proof  Roll Eyes

So for this behalf, I may post alot but at the least they are useful posts Wink

Nice V2's btw, though that Evaluation board from rottentreats, the Rev.A 1800 is something very special heh, since that is something you don't see every day.

And it's Gold Leader Wink

@ gdonovan Smiley

here's the main Waterman page maybe your delicate pen can be found there as well Smiley

Waterman is a dutch commpany they make very expensive pens that were made for business people so it could be that that Waterman pen you have there could be from some high up 3dfx Business man Wink
