Yes, the Default benchmark uses 32bit...

If you want to set the Bench to 16bit, you have to edit the "MaxDetail.ini" in the UT2003\Benchmark\Stuff folder.

There, you can also disable Projectors and Detail Textures if needed; just make sure posting such Benchmark results with this information, so they still can be compared...

That's a very respectable result from what I've seen!

98lite with
629K
of free conventional memory in full DOS mode using QEMM 9.0 (or 628K with UMBPCI.SYS providing real mode for FastVid) with SmartDrive, CD-ROM, CuteMouse, sound support and UniRefresh all loaded high.

I've read the first posts in other Forums, that the Voodoo3 does also run the Retail Game very well Smiley

So looks like everything is working fine on Voodoo3 to Voodoo5 Cheesy

(there is still the 'sky error' apparent on Voodoo4/5 under Win9x on all open Maps, though Sad )

Maybe the upcoming Patch can help out with that...

As promised (sorry, I'm lazy lately), I'll install the Retail Game on my (presently) only Voodoo3 equipped machine, to see what performance hit it will take.

Same I will do with a Banshee after that, and (theoretically) while at that, I could even go as far as trying the same on a Voodoo1 and a Voodoo2 just for the heck of it  Grin

can i use the nudriver5 for the voodoo3?

Im quite sure the NuDriver5 was meant for Voodoo4 and Voodoo5 (5500, 6000) only. Still, there were reports that it works on a Voodoo3 on some occasions.

Today, I'll have the time to grab some of my older Voodoo's, and see how they work with the Game, as well as which Drivers work best.
