Would like to purchase either an Aalchemy system with the 8164 card(s) or just the card(s).

Cheers!

whats your offer for my  Quantum 3D AAlchemy 8164 with new power board. keep in mind that with this powerboard you won't need a special PSU, a normal ATX power supply will do the job here. its working and i am thinking about to sell it. included is also a 20pin ATX power cable.

i don't think so... its a standard pci connector. and new mercury brick also runs in non L440GX boards...

i will post a pic this evening in the forum and ask hank if he can help me how to power up that thing.

than we will see

i found this in the manual

4.4. AA5 Specifications

[...]

Minimum System Requirements
• PCI 2.1 compliant system for AAlchemy QX PCI
• Pentium® II class or faster processor
• Available PCI expansion slot
• Microsoft Windows® NT 4.0 with Service Pack 4 (or later)
• VGA, multi-frequency compatible monitor

based on this information any PCI 2.1 compilant board will do the job
