So its true. Duke nukem for(n)ever is going under. No more good and fun stuff from these guys :( I find it sad. After all these years of waiting for a sequel, Duke is gone forever. Hopefully some company buys off the rights and finishes it, but who knows?

The forums have a couple of post from employees which I thought was kind of cool.

I'm wondering what might happen to the Max Payne 3 that I heard rumors about. I thought Rock Star Games developed it and 3D Realms Published it but could be wrong.

Sad about DNF though. A lot of good memories growing up with playing Duke and Shadow Warrior all night long and some of the Lan games? Priceless.

Yea. this does suck. With that being said, 3drealms knew that duke nukem was their trademark game. But, whenever asked about it. They would give thier famous line, "when its done".

This just seems strange considering how cocky they were regarding the game. Oh well. :-?

I think if they sell whatever they did already, it shouldn't take another team very long to finish it.

After all, it's a guaranteed money making machine. And if it turns out to be a half-way good classy game, it's almost an auto-win (people will buy it just to own it anyway)

I'd vote for Monolith, I think they would fit the duke a bit better ;)

Not a bad idea. I would also dislike ID soft, couse they make pure and puny shooters only. Duke is also about spirits, not (only) quake-like shooting. I think I would leave it to Blizzard - they never published a crap game so far, so DNF cant be a miss :-)
