Title: Can you help me identify VoodooTV?
Post by EMPEROR on 09.07.13 at 22:50:34
Hi all...
Can anyone tell me what I've really got?

Clearly the model number (210-0407-004) states VoodooTV FM, but the the FM looks like this:

There is always a chance that somebody has unsoldered some components out of VoodooTV FM, to make it look like 200, but then what about the back plate?
Sorry for the bad quality pics.

Regards,
Lacho

Hello EMPEROR,

Your card is a VoodooTV200 as you can see here:
http://www.3dfx.ch/gallery/v/3dfx-images/3dfx_cards/3dfxebaypictures/album86/ebay_3dfx_voodootv200_prototype_revA_0_001.jpg.html

The VoodooTV200 and VoodooTV/FM share the same pcb the difference between them is in the market and features they have. The VTV200 was marketed in the US and countries that used NTSC format while the VTV/FM was marketed in Europe and countries that used the PAL format and had an FM radio and remote control as extra features.

Cheers,
G1nX

Hello G1nX,
Thank you very much for the info!
So mine is a product release version? Because every pic I see of TV 200 states different ID - 210-0407-001-A0, as of prototype?
Regards,
Lacho

Yes your card is the production version of the prototype one from the link I provided. The revision change and the lack of NFR stickers is a confirmation of that.
