just for the record,I did not really like his music (so I'm not a fan),and castration is the least painfull and violent thing I wish to all (child) molesters,but I also like to keep a clear mind when looking on/thinking about things..

Yes, he made a couple of good songs but that's it. Other than that, he was a weirdo with severe psychological and resulting medical problems.

People who liked his music will remember him as the musician he was though, and that's fine with me.

So much can be said about MJ...  Good and bad.  I felt sorry for him that he had to grow up (or not) in such a terrible environment.  No wonder he was so messed up.  He needed a life coach or something.  

I remember it was all about MJ in the 80's.  He had his own style of leather jacket, videos about his Thriller video, etc....  Too bad that since then, he was just a shadow of his former self.

Personally I'm just tired of hearing about it. Yeah it made some music in the 80's that people liked back then but that was then. Since that times, he's settled out of court for molestation charges and most people don't settle out of court unless they just want to shut it up and make it go away. If he didn't do any of it, there was no reason what's so ever to not go all the way with it to clear his name, he had the money to do it. Because of that, I really don't see why he should be all over the media for being some type of hero when we have no clue how many kids or lives were destroyed because of what he did to them. There might not be any and then... there could be a large number of them. Either way, I don't care to hear about it any more, there are far to many other things that the media could be reporting on then him.

Before he died, almost everyone spat him out, ohh he is a child molester, oh he did this and he did that.

Now he's dead and they all go....ohh Michael, he's our hero, the biggest entertainer that ever lived (have to agree with that to a certain degree) and they can't praise him enough, redicilious.

As to whether he actually did it.....lotsa stories go round, the 1st few people that charged him with child molestation, some were proven to be false since the child later confessed that their parents made them say that, cause they promised him the biggest gift they had ever gotten if it worked.(can you say "golddigger??)

Others even just wanted to badmouth MJ and that was the ideal situation.

And one of the biggest follies of man is:

You can spend an eternity doing good deeds, helping others, living selflessly and if you make 1 mistake, they will most likely remember you for that, not alll the good you did.

Even if people will still remember you for all the good things, most of them will also say, yeah, but remember the time that......

I really liked the final words one of the guys said at the funeral:

Miichael, we love you, and maybe now, people will leave you alone.

I really liked his music, and that is what I will remember him for, for the artist he used to be.

I agree with you on a lotta things, and I do agree that he did a lotta wrong things, but about your remark that turn "a guy" into MJ and it all seems to be ok.

If it wasn't MJ, those kids never woulda been there and those parents wouldn't see a chance for getting money from him.
I'm not saying all parents were like that, but there were a few that intentionally let their kids stay over, just so they could claim later on that he molested them.

He is a sad case with a lotta cloudy things around him. Maybe he will find peace in death.

There is a number of people (parents) blinded by his fame & press just as a number of people seem to think Roman Polanski is a fine director.

Sometimes people see what they want to see, I perfer to see the world in all its uglyness and beauty.

Is it really 100% proven that he did infact do those things he's accused off?? Did they find remnants of any drugs in any of the kids that have been there?? And if he in fact raped a minor, there should be physical evidence.

I don't know all the ins and outs about the numerous trials that were going on about him and I'm sure there is some truth in them, but in my opinion there is more to it.

And this is all I will say about it, cause like most people, after all those days of continouos MJ news around the clock, I'm getting pretty fed up with it.

That was Roman Polanski- He drugged and raped a 14 year old girl and fled the states before trial, In May 2002, he won the Palme d'Or (Golden Palm) award at the Cannes Film Festival.

I don't know about everyone else, but I have a lot better things to do with my time than talk about (or talk down upon) some dead guy... on that note, the guy made quite an impact on the music industry, and will be remembered for that.  The rest I really could care less about... just like politics. Then again, I am not some old man with nothing better to do.  8-) And for those who don't like it, Beat It, just Beat It.

Why would an innocent man pay an out of court settlement running into Millions of dollars to someone he was not fiddling with :-/
I'm pretty sure if I'd been accused of something I hadn't done,I'd be fighting tooth and nail to prove my innocence,I would definitely NOT be paying him an out of court settlement

Hi ,I'm Ju leveller,Tony's wife, i've been reading your messages on M.J. and despite Tony's objections, have decided to post my opinion  
(I'm like that!) I think that the media made a mockery of MJ's trial we will never know what happened and looking at his upbringing we can all make guesses.  The one thing that strikes me is that many bands have done remakes of his music and songs and made plenty of dosh!  I wish I knew the truth about what happened, maybe it's true that the cycle of abuse never ends, me personally I would like to think you can change that and an individual who knows what happened was wrong could move away from it.  Who knows what happened and if what the media said about his past was right or wrong, i just hope the allegations were wrong and that a person of that status didn't try to dupe us all into believeing he was some sort of hero if he in fact was a monster of the worst kind. I have to ask, as a parent if your son came to you saying he had been raped, no doubt you would go to the police, but would you go to the press, hence the money, knowing your child could be singled out for the rest of his life even though he  could be rich.
