the chip has been polished to mx200 chip,of course modify the chip name, actually it is fake mx200 chip, v3 chip is carved to mx200 chip.

two cards have same board shape, same components,same design and same chip.they are twins. :)

NitroX you received the cards : one was a MX200 with a Voodoo3 chip but the other one is a Geforce 2MX200 ?  :o

I'm ok for buying a  curios voodoo3 for 65€, but not a regular Geforce 2  :-/

According to frank, the company removed the V3 info from the chip and put the GF2MX info on it. I'm still wondering why they would not do that to all those fake cards.

in 2000, 3dfx is down ,but a lot of v3 chips in stock, however, at that time,nvidia mx200 is very popular in the market and the price is expensive depend on its performance.

some manufactory was using v3 chip with cheaper price to modify mx200 to get more profits, that is why not all of them were changed to. Actually it is illegal by law, it trick the people,but money is god for them.therefore, sb did it.

i get them in 2001 with three pieces and test very well.all of them display mx200, but you can use third party software to check it is v3 chip indeed.

i said before, i keep them for a long time,not sure if it is working well today coz no right motherboard with agp1x,2x (3.3v) to test them, maybe they are dead,maybe they are ok, sell as it is.

i am not tricker at all, i was 3dfx fans ever and spend a lot of money and energy on them.Now i have to retire coz no time focus on them.
