well the most important thing is it does not matter what type of sticker there is on the fan, but if they keep on turning while in operation heh that's my most important part.
The problem is that the card is faced upside down in the PC so when in use the fans can't be seen that easily, unless there is a case on the market from which you can mount the Mobo upside down so then the Fans can be made visible....
Anyone have an idea for this?
Anyway yes it does look sweet, but it's not a must, ofcourse.
a Voodoo5 5500 with Blorbs looks kinda nice, I must say, Blorbs = Blue Orbs
As you can tell in the picture the pin is crooked cause for some reason the 3DFX post holes are farther apart then the Blorb. it made the pins hit the fan.... No good.
therefore he used Tiewraps instead, always works
over here you can see that the modder filed away some of the Blorb's material to make it fit neatly without hitting the capacitators
and here the difference between AAvid's and Blobs, you will loosea PCI slot when go'n for the Blorbs though.
