Cool, I think we'll all like this place ;)

Suggestion for a rule:
The subject of a new topic should start with a tag which identifies whether the item(s) is/are offered, requested or up for trade. For example: [SELLING] [BUYING] [TRADING]. |

Well it'd be good to organize in some way and put a sticky thread.

Done :)
Any suggestions for improvements are welcome... Once we got the first deals going, I'll make a 2nd Sticky for buyer/seller (numeric) Feedback, e.g. UserName [03], a bit EBay-style. |

BTW, is this forum only meant for 3dfx related items?

quite fast indeed ;) Anyway the [SALE] [PURCHASE] [TRADE] tags in topics are a decent idea, What about any possible guests (or very new users) trying to get something? Also for the feedback list, it'd be nice to see in the list separated scores for gained-by-sale and gained-by-purchase |

In my opinion.. mainly 3Dfx (but other stuff not forbidden) |

Well, of course basically anything (legal) can be sold here, wouldn't make much sense to limit that to 3dfx items only.
I'll add the Tags in a moment... Selling [S] Wanted [W] Trading [T] From a Guest, I personally wouldn't buy anything, after all those are complete strangers and therefor hardly trustworthy for any transaction. |

very nice and well thought idea Thandor ;)

Does FalconFly forum have trade or sell place? :) |

@ Thnador...
euhm woops. I suppose I mised that one, @ Framk_Bao, Sorry Lad, but anyways, the idea is still very well thought ;) |

Another suggestion;
If a deal has been succesfully made, the topic should be closed. Off course, this should be indicated by whomever started the topic, within the topic itself. |

thanks folks....
i saw many forums have this section and why not have one here which is the real 3dfx heaven ... another question is coming.... the payment method...people in different country have different currency. and the best method is paypal? most sellers just accept paypal only if you are a international bidder.i have paypal account in uk but i had one in china recently. if i have a business here...i think i can only use paypal to send the money to the seller.. :P |

My bank charges nothing for bank to bank transfer within the European Union. So I prefer that method. Paypal is also a possibility but without a valid creditcard it's such a hassle.
Oh, another suggestion; make a list off all shipping costs that have come by in this forum. This way it can be easier for people to determine how much something will cost in total. (List could be in a reply in the rules sticky) |
Title: Re: The marketplace has been opened Post by Thandor on 05.09.05 at 11:00:46
If I'm not mistaken a large package* from Gary (aka USA) to Europe will cost $ 25,65.
*Which includes 10 cards ;D |
Title: Re: The marketplace has been opened Post by gdonovan on 05.09.05 at 14:43:13
Depends on how heavy the package is and what country it is going to:
the one I sent you was 5 pounds, 10 ounces. a 4 pound, 3 ounce package I sent to Germany was $23 but a 1 pound 1 ounce package to Australia was $22.45 |

Or make a deadline. The highest bidder before a special time (based on the time of the forum) wins the object. Note to this : Please don't bid $ 0,01 more on the last second ::). Only serious bids ;) |

Your right Thandor. I wouldn't be fair to all if I didn't set a time limit. Thanks ;) |
Title: Re: The marketplace has been opened Post by NitroX infinity on 08.10.06 at 14:49:05
Here's another idea.
We have the [W], [S] and [T] tags. Why not also use an [X] or [-] tag to identify done deals? |
Title: Re: The marketplace has been opened Post by Obi-Wan_Kenobi on 08.10.06 at 15:05:49
or the [DD] for identifying done deals :) but yeah like your idea mate, norries there 8)
