Title: V4500 AGP 1.5V compatible? Post by RaptorZX3 on 19.04.15 at 04:11:15
i'll have an ATX board soon (Asus TUV4X, Tualatin-compatible) and i wonder if the V4500 AGP is truly AGP 4x 1.5V compatible?
While it may not run at 4x, i just wonder if it's safe to use with that voltage on the board. thank you for the info. |

not 4x compatible you say or do you mean you motherboard, the manual says it has agp pro x4 support. also lowering voltgae will also ways be safe, weather it's stable or not is a hole other thing. |

3dfx Voodoo4 4500 AGP cards are AGP4x @ 1,5Volt.
Voodoo4's from other companies are not compatible with AGP 4x @ 1,5V. They are AGP 2x @ 3,3Volt. |

The Voodoo 4 L-Card only works with 3,3V.
The normal 3dfx Voodoo 4 Card works with 1,5V and 3,3V. |

all vsa100 chips are support 1.5v. if vsa based card don't support 1.5v it only means configuration pins set to 3.3v power only. you can always switch it as you like. no problemo
